| Imagine flying high in the sky in an hot air balloon. Can you imagine the thrill? Hot air balloons use science to make magic. When the pilot lights the burner the air gets hotter and rises. As the balloon fills with this air it stretches and expands. The burner is for warmth and is also used as a compass. By adjusting the burner the pilot can adjust the altitude.
