He didn't want to stop playing cards to make lunch to he asked his servant to bring him some bread and put meat in between the tow slices. This way he could eat lunch and continue playing cards. Sandwiches are great for any meal and are an easy food to have for lunch at school. This invention made it easy for people to eat on the run without using utensils. Now they are eaten all over the world. Have your students read about the sandwich and answer the multiple choice and open response questions without looking back in the passage.
