| Sarah's Day at the Park is an interesting story about what Sarah did when she went to the park with her mom. Use this exercise as a small group instruction task or even a homework package. Second graders are required to read the passage decoding words as they read. Comprehension is a foundation for so many other academic skills that is is necessary to become good at it. Let your students know ahead of time they need to really focus and concentrate as they are not permitted to go back to the story when answering the questions. |
