| Do you have students that require accommodations for them to be successful in the classroom? A task card is manageable for them because it has very little information on the page. Therefore it is way less overwhelming for them. On this card they are required to put an engineer's hat on. They get to design a car or bike that minimizes damage in crash to the driver and the vehicle. They could brainstorm with an elbow partner and then build their own model. The last card gives them the opportunity to choose the topic they wonder about. They need to research and then write a report on it. It might be easier for some students to do a power point rather than write an essay about it. | |||||
