| How do we measure how fast or slow an object is going? How would we know how fast things are going if we did not have a way to measure? Speed is the rate of distance over time. Look at the pictures, a car, a man running, a turtle bike rider and a man walking. In this activity students will decide what measurement would be used and explain why they chose that. Would they use metres, kilometres, centimetres? Would it be in seconds or minutes or hours. | |||||
