Anxiety and worry worsens with thought processes that are ineffective. On this sheet you will find some thought processes that are usually not helpful. They will often worsen the worry and anxiety. Acknowledging errors in this way of thinking and working on changing them will be a step in the right direction. Provide examples when you have exaggerated, jumped to a conclusion, were single minded and thought the worst. Explain how they are not useful. |
