Over estimating threats, the worst that can happen and exaggerating negative situations is harmful to us. These kinds of thoughts can be replaced or work it out to reduce the worry. Task 1 Consider a situation that caused or is causing your anxiety and worry. What is the worst thing that can happen? What is the probability of it actually happening? What would you do if it actually happened? Think about the worst that can happen and how you would handle it. Expand your ideas of what is more than likely to happen.
