Then have them complete all the questions that follow. It's paired reading is a fictional story about Mac who had dreamed of building submarines. Find out what the goal of the experiment was and if they achieved results. Besides the comprehension questions they will complete the contrast/ compare questions and write their own story using one of the included writing prompts.
