Read the following passage to answer these comprehension questions.

2. Why is failure important in the design process?
3. What does iteration mean?

Design thinking isn’t just for engineers. Students, inventors, and even artists use it to solve challenges. Whether it’s creating a robot, designing a water filter, or building a better backpack, the process stays the same: understand the problem, try a solution, test it, and improve it.

Now have students read this fictional text and answer the comp questions and also the contrast ones on page 3.
