The first poem is about what makes a hero. Students will learn the qualities that are needed to be classified a hero. They will then answer the questions on comprehension that follow.

The next poem is about Zara. She finds something special beneath her backyard tree. Students must read the poem to find out what it was. They will then proceed to the question page and answer them on a separate sheet of paper or in their workbook.

3. How did Zara use her powers to help others?
