When a child breaks your classroom rule the first time you should conference the student in private. The second time should be a consequence like a detention, time out or informing the parent. If it happens a third time parents should be informed and told of previous incidences. Should the rule be broken a fourth time then a 1 day suspension is reasonable and a referral to the board behavior specialist. | |||||
